My friend recently told me that she was attending a Bible study on the book of Revelation.  They were discussing the four living creatures:  Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle.   In the study guide they were using, it indicated that these four images were on the banners of the tribes that surrounded the four sides of the tabernacle with the Israelites were camped.   Is that documented somewhere in scripture?  I have been unable to find any reference to that.  Where do you suppose this study guide author got that information?  I figured that you all would be more apt to know where to direct me so that I can help my friend.  Really don't want her to be fed misinformation as so many "Christian" books can do.  Thanks for any direction that you may give me.
