During my reading time yesterday, I was in the book of Luke. Of course, Yeshua taught through parables and while telling the parable of the tenet farmer in Luke 20, something really caught my eye. In verse 17 & 18 is says: "...The very rock which builders rejected has become the cornerstone. (18) Whoever falls ON that stone will be broken in pieces; but if IT FALLS ON him, he will be crushed to powder"
My mind doesn't think very deep, but this had never jumped out at me before. If I fall on every word of Adonai, he will "break" me so I can be rebuilt the way he wants me to be. However, if I don't "fall"ow every word of Adonai, I will be crushed to powder.
Don't know if my interpretation is even close to correct, but it makes sense to me. Just like R. Shapira said in a recent video: (paraphrased) Each time we read the Word, we will discover something new or that we hadn't thought of before. Baruch Hashem!
