  • In step 4 we will begin to introduce some verbs.  Immediately you will notice the complete absence of the verb "is/are" in the Hebrew language.  Therefore, this step also introduces some of the basic sentence construct that is part of the Hebrew language.

  • How goodly [are]

    .משכנתיך ישראל (mishkenotecha Yisrael) אהליך יעקב (ohalecha Ya'akov),

    As for me, through  חסדך ← (chasdecha) I will avo (enter) ביתך (veytecha);

    I will prostrate myself heychal (toward)

    קדשך ביראתך (kodshecha be'iratecha)

    in Awe of You.

     יי (Adonai), ahavti (I love) the House where You dwell,

    And the place where כבודך ← (kvodecha) resides.

    I shall prostrate myself ve'echra'a (and bow),

    I shall kneel before יי ← (Adonai) my maker.

    As for me, may my prayer

    לך יי (lecha Adonai)

    be favorable;

    אלהים ← (Elohim), in חסדך ← (chasdecha), aneni (answer me) with the truth of ישעך ← (yishecha).

  • In step 5 we remove the training wheels (the first set of transliterations are removed).  When you become a member of Assemble-Together you have access to the next steps, plus many more prayers and our live video prayer sessions (must select an Individual Membership or above).  You can select a virtual prayer room that is set up for your level or you can select the mixed level group and the leader will determine the average level of all the participants.  The mixed group is a great way of boosting your learning to the next level.  Hear the correct pronunciations, have your personal prayer requests prayed for, and make new friends.
