  • Our second step is to introduce the most common Hebrew nouns found in the prayers.  At this time we only introduce the transliteration so the the Hebrew words can be pronounced and heard properly. In our next step we will also begin to breakdown the sounds into recognizable prefixes and suffixes. 

  • How goodly are your tents, Oh Ya'akov (Jacob),

    Your dwelling places, Oh Yisrael (Israel).  

    As for me, through your abundant kindness I will enter Your House;

    I will prostrate myself toward your Holy Sanctuary in Awe of You.  

    Oh Adonai (Lord), I love the House where You dwell,

    And the place where Your glory resides.  

    I shall prostrate myself and bow low, before Adonai (the Lord) my maker.  

    As for me, may my prayer lecha (to You), Adonai (Lord), be favorable;

    Oh Elohim (God), in Your abundant kindness, answer me with the truth of Your salvation.
