When viewing a webpage (ie. assessment test results) or your newest creation on the A-T Minecraft Server, you will want to know how to capture the image you see on your computer monitor, so that you can save and share it.
The first step is to identify the [PrintScreen] button on your keyboard. Sometimes it is labeled [PrtScn] or [PrtSc]. In some cases your keyboard may require you to press a function key [FN] at the same time, so that the key will act as a [PrintScreen] button. In these cases, you will notice that the [PrtScn] and [FN] letters will match in color, but will be a different color than the other key labels.
By pressing this button an image of what you see on your computer monitor will be saved to the "clip-board" area of your computer's memory. To retrieve and save it you will need to open an image editing program, such as Microsoft Paint.
Open "Paint" or your favorite image editing program and press "ctrl + v" to paste the image into the empty space (blank pallete).
Save the image to your desktop (for easy access) as a .jpg or .png file type. Your image is now ready to upload to A-T or attach to an email.
