Unfortunately, most history courses taught in our modern day have a particular people group suspiciously missing. In a cooperative effort with the Assemble-Together School House, we decided that we needed an unbiased research tool before we could offer a set of unbiased history courses. So we decided to create our "World Genealogy" section of Assemble-Together. Historical Profiles are organized along a time-line that begins with the first created man Adam and is woven in such a manner that it does not remove the Jewish people from the tapestry.
The primary goal of the Chavah Project is to organize volunteers who are working together to research and enter historical information (much of which is debated) in a manner, in which all perspectives are given a voice. We record and display Biblical and extra-Biblical sources as well as archaeological and scientific data. We also categorize artistic interpretation, whether through art or film, of historical figures.
We hope that you find your study of history on Assemble-Together, more enjoyable, rewarding and fruitful, than anywhere else on the web.
