Like most of us I often wear many hats. I’m a husband, father, A-TeC dad, professional chef, essential oils advocate, and a son of the Most High. For starters. LOL!
Professionally, I graduated from Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, and worked in the food service industry for over 15 years. I’ve worked in all major facets of the food service industry including; hotel management and hospitality, nursing & educational facilities, national chain restaurants, and an upscale fine dining Bistro. For several years my wife and I also, owned and operated “Chef B’s Great Taste” a gourmet comfort food restaurant, in Northeastern Ohio.
During the process of starting, opening and operating my own business, my life was drastically changed forever. Good seed was planted on fertile ground, that eventually sprouted into a path that led my wife and I to a greater relationship with our Heavenly Father. After years of working to get to the point of running my own restaurant, budding revelations like, the Sabbath being Friday night through Saturday night, and pork being unclean, ripped the fabric of my reality. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest nights in the food industry, not to mention, my sous chef and I, were a rib cook-off heavy weight champion duel in our neck of the woods! Things rapidly came to a crossroads, and my wife and I walked away from our business, in order to walk in the Way of our Father.
From ribs to oil? In the wake of the major transitions in our life, we were blessed with our second child. However, because of challenges we faced concerning our first child and vaccinations, my wife educated herself on the dangers of vaccinations and natural remedies. During all the research we were introduced to essential oils, and not only did they aid us during that second pregnancy, but they greatly helped our first child as well. So, I’ve been an advocate for essential oils ever since. Approximately 5 1/2 years to date.
Following the ancient path continued to lead my family and I into new territories. Education was the next destination of our journey. Five years ago, we took our 5yr old, who had multiple academic supports due to difficulties that affected his learning and started online homeschooling. Now, he’s 10yrs old, NO LONGER requires extra academic supports, and is excelling in his 5th year of homeschooling : )
Things don’t stop there. With our second child ready for kindergarten we started looking for a Torah based curriculum, to enhance our educational journey. We were led to A-TeC. More than just an online curriculum, A-TeC. offers a community with core beliefs grounded in the principles of Father’s Word. So, it was a no-brainer to add “A-TeC dad” to my hat rack.
