I am married to my wife of 31 years, Michelle. We have 5 children, two of which are married and between them have 5 grandchildren.
I currently own and operate a small carpet cleaning business as my chief income. My wife works at Publix Supermarkets. We have two children still living with us: Janelle, 18, who is a freshman at University of North Georgia, and Jeanette, 12.
I am the founder of Mayim Chayim Beit Midrash, an online teaching minsitry dedicated to helping people who wish to navigate their way from a Christian to a Jewish hashkafah (worldview). I support Chazal and teach from a Rabbinic worldview. I am not a rabbi. I am a convert to Judaism.
Both my wife and I were raised in Roman Catholicism and also spent many years in various forms of Evangelical Christianity before discovering the truth of Torah and Judaism.
My hobbies are studying and listening to Phish. I like spending time with my family and making them laugh. My biggest frustration is that I have a poor relationship with time. I don't manage it well and there never seems to be enough of it. I suspect I will reach my end of days having felt I never accomplished anything. But HaShem is all and I will give Him glory nonetheless.
